Workshop by Sam Drevo ~ The Art of the Boof Stroke & Freestyle Basics
The Whitewater Symposium this year is separated into “Policy” sessions and “Education” sessions. We are pleased to announce that the Pacific Northwest’s very own, Sam Drevo, will be leading a workshop that is sure to enhance instructors teaching skills and paddlers technique.
So, join ACA instructor trainer Sam Drevo to learn, practice and hone your boof stroke & freestyle skills at Husum falls and Rattlesnake. If you are wanting to take paddling skills to the next level (whether it’s your own or your students) – this is the workshop for you. With a diverse background in slalom, wildwater, ocean surfing, freestyle and extreme kayak racing, Sam is a wealth of knowledge for the aspiring intermediate or advanced paddlers, kayak school instructor and club instructor. His teaching techniques have been developed over the past decade at eNRG Kayaking based in Portland / Oregon City, Oregon where his kayak shop is on the water below Willamette Falls.
Join us this year at the symposium to learn from some of the greatest instructors in the industry.
