Rushing Water Outfitters (RWO) is located on the banks of the Lower Nolichucky River @ 147 River Road, Erwin, TN 37650. Shane, Jemima, and Josh from RWO can get you hooked up with all the latest gear for paddling and teach you how to use it at the river. They are ACA certified and love to get people out on the water. They can arrange shuttle runs for you on the Gorge or Lower Noli runs. They also have rental equipment for people just wanting to see what the river lifestyle is all about.
RWO has a very nice stock of paddling gear and accessories to suite your needs. If they don’t have what you are looking for in stock, just ask, they have an expansive list of vendors that they can order from to get the gear you want. They stock a nice clothing line for when you are off the river to keep you stylin’. You can also feed your paddling urges off the river with their stock of the latest kayaking films on the market. Did I mention they make a great cup of java?; Which will be ready for you when you get off the river at their convenient take-out right below the Chestoa Bridge. They are always brewing up some great ideals on the Nolichucky (Pun intended), so stop on in and give them a shout the next time you are headed to the Noli.
