We encourage you to use the on-line registration system to help us better prepare for the upcoming events. The on-line registration system is easy to use and you can access it using this link: http://worldkayakblogs.com/throwdown/register/

Simple select the Charlotte Throwdown dates you want to participate in on the page and it will take you to an individual page to register for that event.

If you are already a member of the World Kayak Community, simply choose your participation category, and click the submit button!  Men’s K-1A is for any male over 16 years of age that can throw three ends consistently or do cartwheels.  Men’s K-1B is for any male over 16 years of age that does not meet the Men’s K-1A prerequisite.

If you’re not a WK member you will be prompted to sign up as a World Kayak Member (It’s free and fast. You can also choose to start your own blog if you wish while registering). Once you are sign-up as a member of World Kayak, then you can register for the event.

Please take the time to do this because it will make the sign-in process for the event much smoother and quick during the day of the events. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

I will be hosting an AW Membership Drive this month during HTTD #4.  If you’re not a member, I would highly encourage you to join at this event. If you already are a member, bring a friend that is not to get him or her signed-up!  Our goal is to get 5 people to join at this event.  Membership has many benefits for you, but most importantly you will be helping to preserve our rivers and promote safety through supporting AW as a member.  Check out their web site for details: https://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Wiki_aw:about_

I will have applications on hand @ the event for you to fill out to join AW and I can accept cash, credit, or check for the membership fee.  A 1 year basic AW membership starts @ only $35.
