My first and only run of the Tellico ledges was a river clean up day in March 2007. I wish it would rain! A fantastic run, spectacular really, it is okay for Class II & III boaters but don’t leave your combat roll at home. I picked up my second and third rolls on that day, no swims! I had good “river karma” from the clean up so I felt like pushing my luck with a “rail grab” on my first waterfall. Worked out nice and got a cool picture as well. Few things can be better than cleaning up a river and then running it with your paddling buddies!
