Clif Bar Flowing Rivers Grant – deadline Jun. 1 st, yearly

The Flowing Rivers campaign, a joint initiative between Clif Bar and American Whitewater, puts money in the hands of people who are protecting the rivers that are running through their backyards. The Willamette Kayak and Canoe Club (WKCC) has been a recipient two Clif Bar Flowing Rivers Grants (2006, 2007). WKCC used the grants for boater safety education through an annual Safety Weekend (SW). WKCC’s SW, currently in its 8th year, gives opportunity for paddlers of all levels to educate themselves on basic river safety practices and rescue techniques.

BoatUS Foundation Boating Saftey Grant- deadline Nov. 1st, yearly

BoatUS Foundation Clean Water Grant- deadline Feb. 1 st, yearly

The BoatU.S. Foundation is a national 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting safe and environmentally sensitive boating. The Foundation’s goal is to be the leader in boating safety and environmental education and outreach, with the purpose of reducing accidents and fatalities, increasing stewardship of our waterways, and keeping boating a safe, accessible, and enjoyable pastime.
