This run took place some time in past…not saying when 4 of us headed west to the Dart after some heavy rain on the off-chance we would be in luck. Our efforts were rewarded when we saw the level was lapping the slab. Yipee.

We all ran the major rapids, (some of us twice) without conseqence. Euthanasia was much easier at this level than the previous time i ran this river (about 2 inches below the slab)

Last major rapid was suprize, suprize, wich we ran river right channel. I couldnt run it without singing that awful Cilla Black song of the same name. Chris had a very good line down, which I coppied, hugging the large rock close on my right. Too far left and there’s a pin.

All in all a great day topped off with a heart stopping cream tea. Yum!
