Whenever I have some free time on my hands I like to hit the coast. Yesterday was no exception. I headed out to Boscombe to check out the place where (in about 6 months)there will be an artificial reef, ensuring consistent surf. Most surfers seem to hangaround the pier, though I’ve been told that on a good day, most of the groins are also working. Its good to check the coast video-cam before driving over there, provided by the very helpful Sorted Surf shop guys.

I’ve heard that Bournemouth pier is a bit more sheltered than Boscombe. Yesterday, sheltered meant unsurfable
. I intend to check out the high cliff area too.
