Premiere of Jason Rackley’s “Surf Riders” Video
15 11 2007Jason has kindly permitted me premiere his kayak surf video entitled “Surf Riders”. Footage was recorded in November, 2006 on a large swell day. Given that my largest passion in life is to kayak surf , it is somewhat predictable that this video is my favorite Oregonkayaking.net presentation; 4 seasons on the Gauley comes a close second.
Here is a test for you if you are worried about sharks. Step 1 - stick your finger in the ocean. Step 2. Taste your finger. Step 3. There are sharks in the water if and only if your finger tastes salty. Bottom line - don’t worry, keep on surfing.
