The curtain closed on the first annual SGS the end of March with 8 teams holding their heads high. The persistent drought that has plagued the southeast was indeed a factor but ELFing rivers aside our teams were capable of logging some serious gradient in the pursuit of bragging rites.

The 2nd Richmond Hometown Throw down was a boatercross race at pipeline rapid. 10 competitors competed, navigating their way down pipeline rapid and manuevering through 4 gates. We had pretty much a hodge podge of boats so the class where pretty open. Good times.
