Western PA Region – Creek Race Series in the Works !!!!

Me, banging down big sluice rapid at lower level.
I am super stoked to announce that we are in the midst of planning a Creek Racing Series for the Western PA / N. Maryland / N. WV region. While some of these runs are “technically” out of the Western PA geographic, they represent runs that all boaters from area call local runs. Tentative plans are for races on the following classics : ( Click on the run for a little video action )
Big Sandy Creek , WV
Top Yough , MD
Meadow Run , PA
Paint Creek , PA
The events will be time trial sprint races with some having multiple runs and others being a one shot deal. The idea will be to have an overall king of the creek winner with the totals from all events resulting in the crowning in the king and queen of the Mid-Atlantic creek scene. Hey I just realized that rhymes 
So stay tuned for the final event schedule, and be sure to register for the region if you’re either from the area or planning on competing. Working out the logistics as I type this post.
