The forth event in the 2011 Nolichucky/Nantahala Hometown Throwdown series was another great time for all in attendance!!  We had a total of 43 competitors join together for a big booming freestyle rodeo on the Nantahala River, NC!!!  There was a huge crowd of spectators who watched and cheered on the competitors from both sides of the river and bridges!  Good times abound at this throwdown!!

Participation at each event in this series is the key to bring home a point series championship this year.  After four events, the point series is tight in most classes and HTTD #5 will be an exciting final event to see who comes out on top of each class!  Daniel Dutton, Ann Marie Pelcher & Carter Davis are holding the points lead in their respective classes.  The Men’s Novice and Women’s Novice classes are in a very tight points clash for gold!  David Goodwin has established a commanding points lead in his C-1 class, but he has found some stout competition with some the other podium contenders that have join his class!  Congrats to our current top 3 leaders in their class:   Men's Expert K-1: 1.
