2011 Nantahala Hometown Throwdown Event #4

11 August 2011 No Comment

The forth event in the 2011 Nolichucky/Nantahala Hometown Throwdown series was another great time for all in attendance!!  We had a total of 43 competitors join together for a big booming freestyle rodeo on the Nantahala River, NC!!!  There was a huge crowd of spectators who watched and cheered on the competitors from both sides of the river and bridges!  Good times abound at this throwdown!!

All the novice classes competed on the Surf School Wave and the expert, intermediate, & C-1 classes competed on the NOC Wave.  The weather for the afternoon was another perfect with sunny day and warm temps.
