worlds6 013I started today off with a 4 am short practice session.  I just wanted to get on the water for a short paddle to work the bugs out.  After that I was a bit worthless and I took a long nap.  Semi finals are done for all categories now and the top five are set in each.  Due to my nap and a good bit of email work I did not get to see too much of the semi finals for the other events, but I did see a few of the women’s and men’s K-1 rides and they were great.  Go to www.jacksonkayak.com for full results and you can take a look in my photo gallery for shots of the semi finals.  The day started off nice with nice weather, but it quickly turned to rain again.  We did get to escape the wind from yesterday which was nice.  Tomorrow will be a down day for competition and the full finals will be on Saturday.  There are some fun events like king of the wave tomorrow that should provide some great entertainment.  There are some set training slots tomorrow for finalists and we will take advantage of that.  Here are some photos from my squirt comp today.  I am happy to say that I managed to survive another round, so I get to paddle in the finals!  I will have a few more photos from tomorrow’s festivities.
