Reno Event Coverage begins Friday

The 2009 Reno River Festival will covered top to bottom by World Kayak and Chris Wing (H20 Dreamin). The coverage begins Friday, May 8 with the Open competition and will continue on through the entire weekend with full coverage of the Pro event. This will be the FIRST ever ‘Almost Live’ coverage of a Freestyle event as our cameras will be feeding to a production suite and then on-line with about a 10 to 20 minute delay between heats. The final product will be most of the runs! We may be cutting some of the preliminary runs depending on numbers of competitors.

James McBeath is known for having a unique place in whitewater. The founder of Kayak Futaleufu and a former partner in Liquid Skills, James (aka "Pollo") has been around the paddling world for many a year. James currently is the director of World Kayak in hopes of aiding a significant growth through community activity world wide!
