Boise Hometown Throwdown #4
By Gary Wilson • Aug 22nd, 2008 • Category: Throwdown Results, WK Hometown Throwdowns
Last night was Boise’s 4th Hometown Throwdown and what a pleasant evening. The weather was sunny, but temps were only in the low 80’s, so even those of us on shore were comfortable. Again the Jr’s out numbered the adults. Thirteen competitors made three rides in the hole, and one scored downriver event. Our youngest competitor was 8 year old Hayden who completed some great eddy-line stern squirts
I really look forward to these Throwdowns because it helps us remember that paddling is fun and everyone really encourages each other. We had some great moves including paddle-twirls and even some air-guitaring… Afterwords we cooked dogs and had a great time visiting.
