World Kayak Event Coverage

Thanks to everyone who braved the nasty storm and helped make it such a fun event for our first WK Throwdown! It is definitely harder to paddle with ice pellets in your face! Big thanks Harold Cox coming all the way from New Brunswick for his first paddle after heart surgery and especially the young keeners that stuck around for lessons in the worst of the storm in the afternoon while allowing the ’soft’ veterans to compete in milder weather in the morning.
I promise the weather will be better for the next throwdown this April 5
