What can you say about yourself when you are an international mystery??

I grew up in Minden, NV.  (Don’t ask. . . it may not be on a map, but I did learn about cow tipping).  Didn’t do much growing up, Dad was more concerned with putting degrees on the wall, and not so much about getting myself or my 6 brothers and sisters in the water.  My undergrad degree came from the University of Nevada.  Then I soaked up the sun at the University of Miami, FL for grad school.   Now I am a physical therapist by day, and Anatomy and Physiology professor by night. . . for now.

Oh how kayaking has changed my life.  I started kayaking about 3 years ago, and I just keep going.  I met Stephen about a year ago and it has all been uphill since.  I have had the opportunity to paddle all over the place.  California, Nevada, Canada, Colorado, Idaho, Tennessee, and more.  And have met so many great people.  I bought a bright red van, and hope someday to live in a van down my the river.  You can’t miss the van.  If it is big, red, full of kayaks/dogs, and can see it from space, it is probably me (or Stephen since he seems to be in it more than myself).

Reno has been great to me.  It is the perfect place for all my other hobbies.  So. . . don’t forget, I also love taking the dog for mountain bike rides, snowboarding, hiking, and rock climbing.   And that is all. . . for now.  And one of my VERY best friends SERA.  She is the furring, drooling type that never leaves my side!!!!
