	Tsali Frosty Foot Fest January 3, 2009 8k, 25k, 50k Trail Run at Tsali Recreation Area. Presented by V02 Sports of Franklin, NC. All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Fund. All races begin at 9am.

	Bank of America’s US Open March 28-29, 2009 Two days of big-time racing at NOC! Watch world-class paddlers compete in downriver wildwater as well as kayak and canoe slalom competitions. This event is hosted by the Nantahala Race Club (NRC). More info at USACanoe & Kayak.

	Junior US Team Trials April 4-5, 2009 This competitive event is open to racers under age 18. The top three to finish will go on to compete in the Junior World Championships. This race is hosted by NOC and the Nantahala Racing Club Rhinos. More info at USACanoe & Kayak.

	NOC Outfitter’s Store Demo Daze April 25-26, 2009 Join us for paddling’s opening weekend! All 60+ boats in NOC’s demo fleet will be available for free test-paddling on the Nantahala River. Paddlers can also practice up in the pool, as well as in free creeking and playboating clinics. It’s like spring training and opening day all in one weekend!

	Fletcher Flyer Road Ride June 7, 2009 This cycling advocacy ride is great for any experience level, with a choice of century, metric and half-century. 	NOC/Dagger Freestyle Shootout August 1-2, 2009 After a succesful debut, the NOC/Dagger Freestyle Shootout will be back in full effect in 2009. Come out and compete against some of kayaking’s rising stars, or be a spectator to some of the coolest moves on the water!

	Tsali Challenge Triathlon September 5-6, 2009 NOC’s take on the triathlon! We’ve replaced the traditional swim, cycle and run with a lake paddle, a trail run and a mountain bike ride. This popular event welcomes teams and individuals to compete in the beautiful Tsali Recreation Area on Fontana Lake. Come test your mettle against local champions!

	NOC NantyFest/GAF September 25-27, 2009 Don’t miss the granddaddy of all gear sales, the party that brings together outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes to catch up, catch a few eddies and seize some sweet deals on new and used gear.

	NOCtoberfest October 23-25, 2009 Featuring the 109-mile Tour de Nantahala Road Ride, this big fall weekend also includes a 5k trail run and more. Don’t miss special menus and special sales at NOC.
