As we grow older we run the risk of reaching a plateau and growing tired. I may have reached that point. Watching the young paddlers rip it up is impressive. I recognize that I can’t keep up and won’t try to. What I do want to do is 2 things. See alot more of Canada’s rivers and those of the USA. Specifically New England. Secondly, I want to introduce my family to the sport. My wife has tried it and will again. I have 2 little girls (3 and 1) and I want to get them interested as they grow.
My goal is to get advice as how to get my family into it and to get input as to where to find nice class 3 rivers that offer more than a hardcore paddle, but and enjoyable camping experience as well. Info I am after is rive Beta, directions, accomodation info and other activites in the area as well as build a network of likeminded paddlers to hang out with. Any advice???
