Solo kayaker

December 30, 2012 · 3 Comments

(English/italiano in giu’) I like to watch videos of kayaking errors, because they remind me that I make errors, and these errors could be costly. I believe that it’s human nature to remember our successes and forget our failures, and hence overestimate our ability. When soloing, it’s even more important to be honest with myself. Throughout this year I’ve shown my good lines. Here are the bad ones.

Hey Robin nice to see the experts get it wrong, can i ask if there were any swims involved?

I’m not to partial to a pinning myself, especially being alone that is..

keep up the good work and be safe …

Hi Daryn, I managed to wriggle my way out of those situations without swimming. More luck than judgement though…

He-he, sometimes, somewhere something goes wrong … The important thing is that it doesn’t become a habit!
PS: thank goodness you doesn’t swim so often like us harbor seals!!! ;-D

I hope to see you soon in Italy, but in front of a beer and not behind your kayak!
