I faced the beast…at last!

I finally faced down the beast last weekend and attempted the Ocoee once again. This time I emerged triumphant! I will post a more detailed trip report. I’ve just returned from a week-long vacation of daily paddling and camping so I’ve got quite a bit to do to get caught back up at work and in life. All I have to say for now is that can really be a fun river when you finally have the skills to paddle it…and not BE paddled BY it!! Stay tuned!

    Hey..Congrats on the Ocoee! To answer your question…its possible. I did hang out for awhile below the falls waiting for some friends to come down. I was handpaddling a salto? Any help?
