APE Strokes & Concepts Clinic with Stephen Wright

A pool session with the Hobbit King to improve your paddling techniques! ( Registration Deadline—Jan 29, 2018 ) Appalachian Paddling Enthusiasts (APEs) is pleased to announce another of its Paddle with the Pros clinics with Stephen Wright.  Jackson Kayak Factory Team member, Stephen, is a 5-time U.S. National Freestyle Champion, took 3 rd place in the World Championships in both 2009 and 2011, US Freestyle team member 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, & 2017 , was the Pan American Champion in 2011 and was the World Champion for Squirt Boating in 2015. This one evening course is designed for the boater who wants to deal deeper into proper paddling techniques in a kayak.  The clinic will be held at Freedom Hall Pool in Johnson City, TN.  Course will be limited to 10 students.  This course will likely fill up fast so be sure to send in your registration and payment to reserve your spot ASAP.

Chris Hipgrave will be joining us on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at our weekly pool session.  Chris will have all the hottest new kayak designs from Pyranha for free demo and he’ll be there to help with paddling instruction.
