Riverhouse Rendezvous 2014

This years Riverhouse Rendezvous slalom race benefitted from an ideal water flow and no wind.  Saturday’s practice runs were in gusty conditions, which gave us the extra challenge of swinging gates.  On race day the sun kept poking through and made for a nice early spring day

Smelter Park Durango

  The work is not quite finished yet and the opening of the new Smelter White Water park has been delayed until April 15th at this point, see the full article from the Durango Herald .  Below are some updated photos from March 29th, of the progress being made by S2O Design  on the course so far.   For more information and video click  HERE  .

OK Arkansas the rain is falling and the water is coming up…. hope to see you peeps out there today! I also want to let all of ya know that this year is working out to be great for our paddle community, Jeff and I are working with several local and national vendors to make this year one of the best.

2nd Annual Riverhouse Ruckus Riverhouse is running at 1040 cfs and its time for the second Riverhouse Ruckus. This Saturday at 10am meet at Sawyer Park

Watauga Gorge Race

The Race is set for Saturday, April 14, 2014 @ 2:00 PM! News from Eric Chance on Boatertalk: Assuming it ever rains again, we will have the Watauga Race on April 12th or some Saturday in May. We will push the date back if the level is under 250 cfs. I will post on here and Facebook some time during the week before to let everyone know if the race will be on for that Saturday

Animas River Days Festival June 6th-8th 2014

Calling all paddling families! It will soon be time to get the kids out and kick off the summer. The Carolina Canoe Club, Georgia Canoe Association, and Foothills Paddling Club are working together again this year to bring  you an awesome weekend of paddling and family fun
