Yesterday we went to the Gatinau River in Quebec, we drove for like 2 hours, when we got there it was so cold I didnt wanted to paddle but I did and another keener forgot his helmet so he couldnt paddle and stayed with Joe. When we entered the river we splited into 2 groups, one group went directly to high tension which is one of the best waves, and the other group went to lucifers rapid to surf some waves over there, and then head down to high tension, I went on the second group that was going to lucifers first, high tension is the best wave I have surfed. After the river we went for some putine and head back to keenerville. We all need to thank Joe for driving us there.

Hey guys,
yesterday, tuesday, we went on a road trip to the gatnau. The drive was about 2 hours long, we were all tired so we slept most of the drive. when we arrived we put on down a steep track and slid down into the water. We devided up into two groups, one group went strait down to a world class wave called high tension and the other group slowly ran the river and stopped to play at a rapid called lucifers. I was in the group that played in lucifers, there was two waves at the top that were really good to surf on, further down the rapid there is two huge holes with a tounge down the middle, the hole on the right was called ‘lucifers house’ (it is really called something else that is not keener appropriate). We then went down to high tension and kicked the other group out of the eddie. The wave was sweet, it is so big a smooth and it has a large green shoulder that is perfect for blunts. I did my second ever blunt and i was soo pleased with myself, i had a few more good rides and some more good blunts untill i decided i would have a go in pauls boat which is a size smaller than mine. I threw a huge blunt and we got it on film.

It is the biggest wave i have surfed so far and by far my most favorite located on the gatinoe. my stay just getts better and better soon the ramp will be up in keener vile and garb will be in. Tommarow is beat down thursday so im exited to see what huge hole we will go to this weak.

Hay there it’s Taylor all the way from Knoxville TN, again and, is having a great tome here as a Keener. Today was my third time on the middle channel and I had a blast. I also ran Dragons Tongue for the first time as well and stuck it. On every Wednesday we have a race and, today we still split up on the middle and the main though. On the middle we had a practice race at butterfly and, then we had the real race at Lower No Name. My first time was 23 seconds and then my second run when I ran around Vampire Hole I got 25 seconds. I won with my 22 second run. Tonight we had your first first aid course and, then we are going to do all day on Saturday too.

Keeners are meant to write blogs twice a week, that being Tuesday and Saturday. They have been overly busy the last two days with the Gatineau river trip on Tuesday and the CPR/First Aid course going on as I type. Sorry for the inconvience!
