Spring paddling in the winter:

It still feels like spring around here with temperatures up to 65 degrees and the rivers are still running! This is so unbelievable. I am not a cold weather paddler at all, but even I ventured out yesterday. Put on a dry top and pants, fleece, gloves etc and I almost passed out from overheating. In March! It was an awesome beautiful day! Lots of local folks have been out of the rivers the last few days; many on the Tohickon, some on the Lock and Wick, and Scudders is a great level.
What are the odds that spring is here to stay?
