Well, the past weekend, Joel Kowalski, a brit ´Pikey´, and myself all decided to take a road trip to Lachine in Montrel on our weekend off. And it was AMAZING, Big Joe wave was off the hook! We went and paddled all day Saturday and loved it so much we camped in our vehicles in the parking lot and paddled again on Sunday. We were all throwing everything, Pikey was working on his airscrews and helixs while Joel and myself we just having fun party surfing and taking turns, doing three tricks then switching places on the wave. Though on Sunday I got the idea to do every move in the book both ways in one surf. It took me all day, being that i would get pretty far but i would always have a harder time sticking the moves right and left being there is a way better righty shoulder. But on my last ride, which was 18 minutes long, I did it (well all the moves higher than the panam). I started off doing three moves at a time and then doing cross-overs with Pikey, but after he flushed i just went to school on the wave, doing all four panams nd clean blunts, right left front and back, then both left and right airscrews where i would land flat, then both helix´s and McNasty´s, and a couple more Huge panams, clean blunts and airscrews mixed in when the wave would green out, and then i got into some combos with some blunt to McNasty and clean blunt to McNasty, and then some brea and butters, and i finshed off with a sweet Mystery flip, and then just left. Literally i got off the wave and waited for Joel and Pikey to do there last surf and then we left.
It was priceless, we then drove back, ready for work on Monday morning. Though my job in pretty sweet teaching the keener Program all summer.
