Low water on the James.
Thought I had lost the kayaking fever until recently and out of no where it returned. The river levels in the central Virginia region as well as many other parts of the county have been low and so has my desire to paddle. Then out of nowhere I began to feel the urge to get back on the river. Lately I have been going down to Pipeline rapid on the James river early in the morning. I can’t think of a better place to be or a better way to start off your day then playing around on pipeline and throwing some moves in the main drop. So if you’ve been down about the water levels and not able to travel to find water, head to the pipe and have some fun. I think you’ll be surprised how much you will enjoy it. See ya on the river.
