southeast junior team

This is a young, small, local team comprising of a few new and up coming boaters from the Asheville area USA. These kids were taught to boat and selected by Jez and have already dedicated themselves to improving their boating in an attempt to try to make the 2012 Freestyle World Cup.

Most of the team have just started boating in the last two years and already have shown some huge progress by running class 5.

Matt, Joey, Ben who are aged between 11 and 14 also epitomise the boating lifestyle as they are always eager to go paddling. Stay tunned, these kids are going to make headlines in the future. This blog will follow their progress as they hone in their skills and go bigger everyday.

We wish to thank Jackson Kayak, Kokatat, Snapdragon, Falling Creek Camp, Diamond Brand and Jackson Kayak for their help in supporting developing young paddlers.
