This could be construed as a commercial post, but in reality it’s just some honesty. Last week in Aspen, we were packing up some gear from the Mountainfilm festival and I saw the new Downlight Hoodie and had instant gear lust. Kind of weird (and good) to get gear lust for your sponsors gear. It’s a hoodie like I wear around all the time. Except instead of heavy cotton, it’s full of premium 800 fill down. Perfect for around the campfire on multi-days, and it should double quite nicely as a pillow too. 800 fill is top notch, should pack down nice and small. I saw it in the blue color, which seemed a little darker in person. Online I wasn’t thrilled with the color, but in person it’s gorgeous. Gonna get me some.
