Delayed Tutorial – due to a sucessful Middle Kings descent in October.
As the tutorial is a work of, well I’m not sure what, but whatever it is, it’s not paid work, it has fallen on the back burner with the recent early storm in California. We did an unusual run after the last storm, the infamous Middle Fork of the Kings River. The 12-14 mile hike in through the snow was twice as much work as normal, we didn’t make it to the river before dark on day one. One of the most physically demanding trips I have ever done. Glad to be done with the first out of season descent of the Middle Kings, I am resting on Chili Bar this weekend and the tutorial will resume some time next week.
