Dead Peasants
Russian 1890? Nope, America 1980 to present.
While I fully intended to finish my last post yesterday, over the weekend some news made me switch banks on Monday which is always a painfully long process.
Corporations have been taking out life insurance policies on their employees with themselves as beneficiaries. The deceased are sometimes referred to as “Dead Peasants” in the paperwork. It’s no surprise that these corporations have not gone out of their way to publicize partaking in this terrible practice, but some lists are available. Show your power by choosing where you keep and spend you money, I made the switch away from Bank of America yesterday and should have the rest of my last article up today.
