Fun Run

If you’re a regular follower of the Central Ontario region on World Kayak, you’re familiar with our weekly series of paddling get togethers know as the Fun Run. Held on weeknights, starting at about 6:00pm, the Club meets at Burleigh Falls on Hwy 28. For the first few nights, water levels were high with a lot of water being released at the dam. This means big water at Burleigh allowing for several different lines down and over the falls at the bottom, and a couple of lines to be had at Sketchy Left.

Rookie paddler, Nik conquers the falls at Burleigh.

July Throwdown Date Change

james wrote 1401 days ago:

I hope everyone is enjoying the water levels out here. Since there still a good snow pack and the water is dropping very slowly I believe the July Throwdown might end up between good levels. With this in mind I have move it to July 27. I’m hoping that this will give us the best conditions for the Throwdown.
