New River Canoe/Kayak Camping Trip

This is a good trip for anyone who wants to practice overnight paddle/camping with short miles and easy water. Camps have running water, a bathroom the first night and an outhouse the second night. We can also hike the trails at the second nights camp to see an old grave yard and the remains of an old homestead.

The trip is this Friday meeting early at the New River State Park at 10:00AM
or you can meet to car pool/convoy from Food City in Piney Flats at 8:00AM
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU’RE COMING!

The first night I am bringing a frozen steak and some charcoal if you want to share the grill!
Also I’ll make breakfast Burritos for everyone on Sunday morning, you can bring something to compliment it if you wish.
