Slalom Survivor Part Duex, Hot Hot Hot!

Thursday July 21 st brought the second Slalom Survivor out to the USNWC.  The day was super hot but the competition still brought out 22 paddlers to battle down the wilderness channel.  We started off with a backwards seal launch and then racers were off to hit the six eddies including the tricky eddy at M-Wave.  As usual the inflatables were flying with each racer trying to work to get a 30 seconds off their time.  The final race was a little different.  There 5 racers and 4 inflatables and in order to win you had to cross the finish line with a inflatable.   The winner was JR.  Everyone gathered at the end of the race to raffle  off our great prizes from our sponsors.
