The JR women got their chance to shine this afternoon under a blazing sun. The girls were able to showcase a solid mix of loops, spins, and space godzillas. US team member Lauren Burress even threw a mcnasty in each of her rides. I don’t believe the judges scored them, but the fact that they were close is super impressive. Gabby Bates from the UK threw down to super consistent rides to end up in second place, and Hannah Kertesz from the US had one ok ride combined with one great ride to end up in first for the day. Great job ladies, and we look forward to seeing you boat tomorrow.
