Today was my first day at my new job as the Program Director for California Canoe & Kayak here in Sacramento (Rancho Cordova actually). I just drove up yesterday from Los Angeles where I’ve been living for the last 14 years. I am thrilled to be here and I can’t wait to get out on the local rivers and get into the paddling scene up here.
Coincidentally today was arrival of our 2007 Jackson kayaks. I got to help unload all the new Funs, Stars and Rockers. Haven’t had the chance to open up the plastic yet but I’m excited to get to try all the new boats and see the changes from last year’s models.
