Scouting and kayaking in B.C. and Alberta

The kayaking on the Kananaskis River has been a lot of fun with all the new changes and they are still working on the play spots and slalom course this week. My girlfriend Joanna and I just had a great weekend on the Kananaskis and plan on heading to Missoula, Montana this coming long weekend. Paul and I also did some teaching for some french paddlers on the Bow River before they headed back to Quebec.

I was able to get a trip in to the Kicking Horse River in Golden, British Columbia this Summer with a good friend Paul Muegge. We also did some scouting of Canyon Creek which flows in behind the Kicking Horse Ski Resort, but it ended up choked with wood and levels were high.

Here are a few photos from this Summer’s excursions, enjoy!
