They’re training for the 2007 Potomac Whitewater Festival Attainment Race, of course.

This year we’ll be racing on a slightly different course. New, improved, and it will keep your teeth whiter and brighter!

We’ll do a mass start in the big eddy below the island at Difficult Run. Boaters will choose their own routes up through the Chutes, charge upriver to the eddy below Echo Cliffs where last year’s finish line was located, turn around a buoy, and blast back downriver to the finish line in Maryland Chute. The fast water and constricted space at MD Chute should make for some exciting finishes.

Classes same as last year: WW, long, short, men’s and women’s with open boat and C-1 classes if we get entrants.
