Planning on winter? CReW Pool sessions are coming to Cornwall, Ontario!

Yes, its true that winter is not here yet and that there is lots of paddling left to do.
Last weekend we headed out for our fall session at Lachine and Big Joe. This is the first time that the levels were low enough to take everyone out with ease and it was great. Even a bit intimidating for some but that factor was soon overcome:)
And yeah, this weekend coming is our Thanksgiving tradition: A long weekend on the Ottawa. CReW, friends, uncrowded eddies and very few (if any) rafts! Whooo hooo!!!!! If the river gods are kind and the water level keeps dropping we hope to see Garb!! Keep the river gods happy. Please!
Still even planning on a trip down the rouge and some local rides in Valleyfield until the ice comes.
But really we are planning on playing inside soon enough.
This year Sylvie and I secured the insurance for the club and so have opened the doors to some interesting opportunities. We are moving our winter play into the Cornwall Aquatic Center. Now we have room for teaching and Kayak Polo!
Twice a month from November until March, CReW will be playing polo, working flatwater skills and teaching whenever possible in Cornwall, Ontario. Who knows maybe even a couple friendly competitions to keep it all exciting during the winter!
If you are in the area and want to enjoy a pool session on a Sunday afternoon (5 till 6) drop us a line and come on out.
Until then, lets get back on the rivers and get the most out of fall!

See you on the river,

Robert
